Our vision

<span data-metadata=""><span data-buffer="">The International Salsa-Ka Festival

The International Salsa-Ka Festival, known by the acronym “FISKa”, was born from a desire to offer an inter-cultural festival of dances and music in Guadeloupe, where Gwo-ka and Latin dances come together. and where other dances are invited, allowing the extent of the know-how of artists, both local and international, to be shown.

In 2024, FISKa will display the colors of the 2024 Olympic Games, which are taking place in France.

FISKa aims to transport the culture (dance and music) and the image of the islands of Guadeloupe beyond its borders by highlighting the know-how and potential of its dancers, and by inviting artists from world renowned to come and discover our islands.

Promote Guadeloupe and its culture at the national and international level. Produce, annually, a dance and music festival in Guadeloupe which is intended to be festive, colorful and friendly. Energize the Guadeloupean cultural scene and participate in the socio-economic development of the territory. Promote cultural tourism development in Guadeloupe. Promote local cultural diversity and diversity. Create a unifying event promoting a mix of generations. The Team

Salsa D'clik

Jean-Luc

Born into a family of musicians, I have been immersed in the artistic and musical world since a young age. Around 99, I had a passion for music but especially for Latin dance; and it was quite natural that I found myself in the world of Salsa. After training in renowned schools, such as Salsabor, I started as a dance instructor, then towards choreographic creation. My passion was so great that to share it I created a space where Salseros could meet at the LATIN’CLUB; this place allowed me to exploit my qualities as a DJ. Impossible to stop at that, wanting to highlight local and international artists in order to dazzle aficionados, my association organized the first Ka festival in 2019. Today the adventure continues even better.

Anita

The desire to be useful, to act for others, nice gestures, are my leitmotiv. At SalsaD'Clik, we are united by the same passion and with the common goal: to share joyful and authentic moments with you. THERE ARE SHORTCUTS TO HAPPINESS AND DANCING IS ONE OF THEM!

Raoul

I have always been very interested in salsa, but I didn't start dancing until late. I trained by combining the rigor of local dance teachers and the friendliness of local associations. I was quickly exposed to the stage thanks to various collaborations which brought me to the FISKA stage. Today I have the opportunity to help the development and sustainability of FISKA and more broadly of the SALSAD’CLICK association.
